In an effort to reduce the threat from dry vegetation in our community, vacant lot owners will be receiving letters in the mail explaining the Unimproved Property Hazard Reduction Standard (weed abatement program). If you are an owner of an unimproved parcel up to 5 acres in size, you are responsible for complying with this Standard. The initial inspections have already been completed. Second inspections will be conducted after May 25, 2015.

The El Dorado Hills Fire District is currently accepting bids for a new Brush Truck. The El Dorado Hills Fire Department in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will be collecting new unwrapped toys for the TOYS FOR TOTS PROGRAM at all of our fire stations up to December 11th. Toys for Tots does not accept used toys, clothing, or food for the program.

The new Station 84 construction has begun. The estimated move-in date to the new station will be September 2015.
