It is that time of year again when El Dorado Hills Fire Department's "Holiday Hero's Toy Drive" we begin collecting and distributing toys to families in need. Each of our five EDH fire stations as well as Rescue Fire Station 83 will have collection boxes in front of our stations to allow for donations with social distancing. We also look forward to spreading some cheer this holiday season with our Santa stops.

Due to the recent announcement that El Dorado County has shifted into the purple tier, effective immediately, all El Dorado Hills Fire stations are closed to the public for non-emergency business to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This is our effort to protect the general public and the employees of the El Dorado Hills Fire Department.
Effective Monday, November 16th, CAL FIRE (AEU) has lifted their burn permit suspension throughout El Dorado County. Agricultural and residential burn permits can now resume burning on permissible burn days. Burn permits are available online at https://burnpermit.fire.ca.gov/. Please note burn permits are no longer issued in person at our fire stations.

All burn permits for outdoor residential burning within state responsibility areas in Alpine, Amador, El Dorado and Sacramento counties have been suspended as of Monday, June 15, and bans all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris such as branches and leaves.
