Join Us for the 2024 "Holiday Heroes" Food and Toy Drive!
The El Dorado Hills Fire Department is excited to kick off our beloved Holiday Heroes Food and Toy Drive! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the El Dorado Hills community for keeping this wonderful tradition alive for over 60 years! Your spirit and generosity truly help us bring joy and holiday magic to families in need.
As Santa, Mrs. Claus, our playful elves, and the El Dorado Hills Fire Department team visit Town Center for the tree lighting on December 7, and local neighborhoods and establishments from December 10-13, 2024, we invite you to join us in supporting those in need. We warmly encourage you to bring new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food to our Santa Stops, where our cheerful elves and dedicated team members will be handing out candy canes and collecting your generous contributions. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference in the lives of others.
You'll find our donation trailer at each stop, and you’re also welcome to drop off your donations at any of our five El Dorado Hills fire stations. Toy donations will be delivered to Shriners Hospitals for Children of Northern California and food donations to the El Dorado County Food Bank.
Each organization has shared their wish lists to ensure they receive the most needed items this holiday season. By donating directly from these lists, you can help meet their immediate needs.
