King Fire Update

Yesterday, Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. issued an emergency proclamation for El Dorado and Siskiyou counties due to the effects of the King and Boles fires, which have burned thousands of acres, destroyed homes and other structures and damaged critical infrastructure.

The growth from yesterday has bumped up the total size of the fire to 70,944 acres. There are currently 3,695 fire personnel working this fire.

The fire personnel are taken care of at this time so we are encouraging that all donations be made to the Red Cross via their website or by phone at (800) RED-CROSS.  Thank you very much for helping support those in need.
