El Dorado Hills Fire Department

The Ride Along Program provides individuals the opportunity to ride as a guest on an El Dorado Hills Fire Department vehicle.  Citizens wishing to participate in this program must be a minimum of sixteen years old.

Please fill out the Ride_Along_Request_Form below and submit it to Deputy Chief O'Camb.  In order to accommodate possible schedule conflicts, several alternative dates should be supplied.

Ride Along Requirements:

• Read and follow the Ride Along Guidelines
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must complete the Ride Along Waiver
• Must comply with the dress code (see Ride Along Guidelines)
• Must schedule and make arrangements 5 days prior to date of ride-along
• The rider will be a passive observer and must obey any orders given by the Supervisor they are assigned to
• The rider will not interfere with El Dorado Hills Fire Department personnel in the performance of their duties
• The rider will not handle any El Dorado Hills Fire Department equipment, unless specifically authorized by EDHFD personnel

Ride Along Details

• Ride Along times: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Limited to 8 hours per month
• Please provide us with a minimum of 5 days advance notice.
