Hazardous Waste Collection Print E-mail

El Dorado Hills Fire Department operates a hazardous household waste collection site at Station 86 located at 3670 Bass Lake Road in El Dorado Hills. This site is open on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, weather permitting. 

Household generated items that will be accepted include:

  • Electronic Waste (click on the link for a listing of items)
  • Paint
  • Used motor oil
  • Solvents/Thinners
  • PesticidesAerosols
  • Antifreeze Brake fluid
  • Adhesives/Sealant
  • Batteries
  • Pool Chemicals(15 gallon or 125 lb. limit per vehicle)
  • Medical Sharps (must be in sharps container)

 

Items that cannot be accepted:

  • Radioactive Materials
  • Explosives or compressed gas cylinders
  • Tires
